Overview of Presentation

A hydronic system is a HVAC transmission.  The water is used to send and receive the cooling or heating capacity between targets.  Testing, Adjusting , and Balancing aims to provide and verify flow throughout the designed system. This presentation describes the why, how, and what of hydronic testing and balancing with particular attention to valve architectures and function.

Speaker's Bio

Hooman Daneshmand is a Balancing Valve Specialist and hydronic engineer from Victaulic. He’s received his B.Sc. in Mechanical engineer from UCLA in Los Angeles, CA in 2007 and his MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX in 2015.  He received his PE in California in 2012 and his CEM from AEE in 2014.  Through good hydronic specialties in specifications, details, components, and practices; he has proven ways to effectively bring hydronic systems online and commissioned in stages, reduce pumping energy and to gain more efficiency from condensing boilers and high efficiency chillers.
