The ideal candidate shall possess a BSME and
have a minimum of 8+ years of well rounded project management experience in building systems commissioning, HVAC testing and balancing, BMS
systems, construction and operations/field troubleshooting, controls experience
for HVAC and mechanical systems, knowledge of cooling tower and chillers
including distribution systems and knowledge of electrical distribution
systems. Certified
Commissioning Professional or LEED Certified Professional are a plus. A
PE is preferred, but not required. Interaction experience with
clients, construction managers and contractors, strong communication and
technical writing skills, along with project level supervisory experience is
mandatory.
Commissioning
Field Technician/Engineer
The ideal candidate
must have 5+ years of field related experience with HVAC systems such as
air/water balancing, system start-up and commissioning, service/maintenance,
troubleshooting and operations. Experience conducting functional tests of
chillers, boilers, AHUs, VAVs and other HVAC equipment required. An engineering or technology degree is
desired. Strong interpersonal skills are a must.
Senior Structural/Civil
Engineer – Solar Photovoltaic Systems

We are seeking a structural / civil engineer with experience in building
design and construction and a strong knowledge of building structural and
roofing systems.
In this challenging
position you will work with our design/build team in the turn-key design,
construction and turn-over of industrial photovoltaic systems. The ideal candidate should possess an
engineering degree, PE and a minimum of 5 years engineering/construction
experience. Autocad and CAD drafting
experience desired.
Dome-Tech Energy Advisors is seeking
qualified energy professionals to support demand for its energy consulting
services. The ideal candidate will
possess either a BSME or BSEE (PE, CEM desired) with significant experience in
energy auditing, project screening and energy engineering. Senior Engineer and Associate positions
available. Excellent technical report writing and communication skills are a MUST.
Dome-Tech Energy Solutions (DES) is seeking qualified
project managers to support the growing demand for our turnkey design/build
services. The ideal candidate will possess a BSME (PE, CEM desired) and mechanical
design experience with central plant utility systems (chilled water &
steam). Candidate must have design
experience in heating/cooling load calculations, pipe sizing and pressure drop
calculations, centrifugal pump sizing, combined heat and power analysis, and
energy conservation measures analysis, including life cycle cost analysis. Excellent technical report writing and
communication skills are a MUST.
Sr. Project Engineer – Pump Systems
Dome-Tech Energy
Solutions (DES) is seeking a qualified project engineer to support the
growing demand for pump system projects for our municipal and utility customers. The ideal candidate will
possess a BSME (PE, CEM desired) and will have experience identifying and
analyzing root causes of pump system degradation or failure. The candidate must be able to identify
opportunities to improve pump system performance (repair, upgrade, replace) as
part of overall energy conservation management program. Experience with numerous pump and pumping
systems designs is essential – utility, HVAC and process pumps.
Engineer - HVAC Retro-Commissioning Engineer
Here is your
opportunity to get involved with the fastest growing segment in the HVAC
industry - Retro-commissioning! In this
challenging position you will optimize the performance and energy efficiency of
building systems in the NJ/NYC/LI area.
Dome-Tech is one of the largest providers of Retro-CX services in the
Northeast and we are seeking engineers to meet the growing demand for these
services. Candidates must possess an
engineering degree and have 3+ years of field experience with
commercial/industrial HVAC systems.
Senior HVAC Performance Test Technician/TAB
Responsible for
field testing, data collection, troubleshooting and analysis of existing HVAC
equipment and testing and balancing of HVAC systems. Duties will include field testing of various HVAC system
components: fans, heating & cooling coils, Variable Air Volume (VAV) boxes,
control systems, etc. NEBB/AABC
certification is a plus.
FM3 Group, the Facility Management Consulting
division of Dome-Tech, seeks a Senior Facilities Consultant to assist clients
in identifying opportunities to improve their operations. Work with the client to implement
maintenance programs, staff training, safety programs, and facility
inspections. Research maintenance requirements
for facility systems and equipment in order to prepare operations and maintenance
programs. Qualifications include: ten+ years of experience in building
operations and maintenance with supervisory responsibilities, experience with
Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), predictive maintenance
technologies, and Lock Out/Tag Out programs.
Must possess a 4-year college degree (engineering, architecture,
computer background, preferred) or significant experience may be substituted
for college degree. Desired licenses
and certifications: PE, Certified Plant Engineer, Certified Plant Maintenance
Manager; IFMA – Certified Plant Manager; BOMA – Real Property Administrator
(RPA), Facilities Management Administrator (FMA), Systems Maintenance
Administrator (SMA), Systems Maintenance Technician (SMT).
This entry-level position reports to the manager of the
FM3 Group, a division of Dome-Tech, to support maintenance
facilities projects. Responsibilities
include collecting information from facilities related equipment, researching
maintenance requirements for building systems, database development,
engineering and maintenance procedure documentation and development. This position offers a unique opportunity to
develop skills in all facets of facilities management. Participation in in-housing training
programs to improve skills is required.
Bachelors or Associates Engineering degree in electrical, mechanical, or
facilities, preferred or equivalent experience. Must have computer knowledge including Microsoft Office and
CAD. Coast Guard license, programming
and database knowledge is a plus. Must
be hands on!
